For example, making sure that the patient (believer in Christ) spends plenty of time with materialistic friends, keep the patient from thinking too deeply about any spiritual matter, using everyday distraction to mislead the believer, cause the believer to become disillusioned with the church, and slowly deteriorate relationships.”
